Planning for the funeral of the last of the original Wailing Souls – Bunny Wailer – paused as family remembered his wife, Sister Jean Watt, who went missing a year ago.
Sister Watt was 70 when she went missing from the family home in Washington Gardens, St Andrew, Jamaica.
The search has been relentless and islandwide, with a reward of one million Jamaican dollars on offer, the hiring of private investigators, and the making of a 30-minute documentary.
Bunny’s health took a turn for the worse when his wife of 50 years went missing. He died at the age of 73 on 2 March 2021.
Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny whose birth name is Neville Livingston, were the original members of the world-famous Wailers when the band was formed in 1963.
