A teacher in Mpumalanga crashed a car through the staffroom walls resulting in injuries to four people inside.
The Mpumalanga Department of Education said it “has learned with shock of an accident which happened at Kopanang Secondary School at Emalahleni Local Municipality on Wednesday”.
The department added: “According to the preliminary information which still needs to be verified, it looks like a teacher accidentally drove into the staffroom thereafter injuring two assistant teachers and two learners.”
The staffroom was left with a huge gaping hole in the wall.
All the injured were taken to hospital.
Mpumalanga Education MEC Bonakele Majuba was expected to visit the school on Thursday morning.
