For a change – rather than being called out to the endless road carnage – emergency responders were called to help rescue a family of geese stuck in an empty swimming pool in Lonehill, Fourways, Johannesburg.
Emer-G-Med said M07 received a call on Wednesday from an Estate that a family of geese was stuck in an empty swimming pool.
“The mom and dad were frantically trying to get the nine goslings out,” said Emer-G-Med.
“M07 asked for assistance from other units. The goslings were removed safely and reunited with mom and dad.”
