Two people survived a helicopter crash at Virginia Airport in Durban North on Wednesday morning.
First responders including ALS Paramedics and NetCare911 attended the crash scene.
Two people were injured in the helicopter crash just before 10 am on Wednesday morning.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services together with Netcare911 arrived on the scene to find that a helicopter had crashed on the airfield.
“Two people sustained moderate injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby Durban hospital for the further treatment that they required,” said ALS Paramedics Medical Services.
“At this stage, the events leading up to the accident are unknown however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.”
