A woman in her 30s died in an early morning multiple-vehicle crash in the Berea area in Durban.
Four cars collided at the intersection of Berea Road and Cleaver Road at about 3 am on Sunday.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found that one of the four vehicles involved in the collision had overturned.
“One person a female believed to be in her thirties sustained fatal injuries … [she] was declared deceased on the scene,” said ALS Paramedics Medical Services,
“One other person sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene by paramedics however declined further transportation to a hospital.”
Police were in attendance and are investigating the cause of the crash.
