Popular gospel singer Deborah Fraser has passed away after a “short illness”.
A terse statement from her family said: “It is with deep sadness to inform you of the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend and gospel musician, Deborah Fraser following a short illness.”
Deborah died at midday on Sunday in the presence of her family and friends.
The Abanye Bayombona hitmaker was 56.
