Two municipal workers suffered serious injuries on Tuesday afternoon when a wall collapsed on them along Stapleton Road in the New Germany area, eThekwini.
“The men were treated and stabilised on scene by Emergency Care Practitioners before one was airlifted with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required,” said Emer-G-Med.
“The second man was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital under the care of an Emergency Care Practitioner, for further care.”
