Organisers have opened various ways to rally behind your favourite Idol.
From Sunday (28 August 2022), the options listed below may be used to cast votes for favourite Idols hopefuls, bettering their chances of advancing every week and claiming the ultimate prize.
Voting takes place on SMS, Mobile, Web and the MyDStv app (all DStv subscribers) only.
If this is your first time voting on our website, make sure you check out the DSTV guide on HOW TO REGISTER before you proceed.
Keep in mind, however, that if you already registered for voting on this website in previous seasons, you don’t need to go through the process again. Simply log in and proceed with the steps outlined below.
To be eligible to vote for your favourite contestant, you’ll need to register on the Idols SA website.
Registering on the Idolssa.tv website:
- You can register to vote on the Idols SA website – www.idolssa.tv
- Click on the Vote menu item.
- Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location and cellphone in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password.
- You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
- Enter your OTP
- Once registered, you will be able to vote.
- You do not have to register again if you have already voted on a previous Idols season or M-Net Voting Production.
- Select your favourite contestant.
- Website votes are free.
- Data costs apply.
Voting on the Idolssa.tv website if you’re a registered voter:
- You may vote for your favourite contestant via the Idols SA website – www.idolssa.tv
- Click on the Vote menu item.
- Click on Login and enter your cell phone number in the international format e.g.+27731234567.
- Enter your chosen password.
- Select your favourite contestant.
- Enter your number of votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.
- Votes on the website are limited to 100 votes per user.
- Website votes are free.
