Starring Scarlet Gomez, Ray Adeka, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Ego Ihenacho

Set against the backdrop of the gold mining industry, WURA follows the secret lives of Wura Amoo-Adeleke, a perfect wife, loving mother, and the ruthless iron lady and Chief Executive of Frontline Gold mine who is willing to burn down anything and anyone that stands in the way of getting what she wants.

Wura is Showmax’s first Nigerian Original telenovela and stars Nollywood veterans and upcomers, including fast-rising Nollywood star, Scarlet Gomez, who is cast as the lead, popular Nollywood Yoruba actor Yomi Fash-Lanso who plays Anthony Amoo-Adeleke, and Nollywood veteran Carol King as Grace Adeleke.

Wura also stars Ray Adeka as Jejeloye “Jeje” Amoo, Iremide Adeoye as Lolu Adeleke, Ego Iheanacho as Iyabo Kuti, Martha Ehinome as Tumininu “Tumi” Kuti, and Lanre Adediwura as Olumide Kuti.

New episodes land on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on Showmax.
