Basketball icon Michael Jordan’s sneakers from the 1998 NBA finals have fetched more than $2.2m at an auction.
The Air Jordan sneakers were unveiled at Sotheby’s DIFC Gallery in Dubai on 28 February 2023.
The sneakers have become the most expensive trainers ever sold and the most valuable collection of individual sneakers in auction history.
Jordan wore the sneakers during the Chicago Bulls’ sixth championship finals against the Utah Jazz.
