Johannesburg – Hip Hop artist Big Zulu is going to fight Brian Dings – the popular bodyguard from Moja Love’s Uyajola 9/9 in “The Clash of The Chiefs” on Sunday, (23 April 2023).
Seconds Out partners with Roy Jones Jr & Jodi Solomon Boxing to present The Clash of Chiefs – a boxing and entertainment event headlined by Big Zulu, whose real name is Siyabonga Nene.
This is Big Zulu’s first celebrity boxing match.

“Inspired by our main event star, popularly renowned for his music steeped in Zilu lore, The Clash of Chefs serves as a celebration of South African Heritage, a tribute to the legacy of our cultures as African,” organisers said.
“We are bringing you some of SA’s most fierce contestants, with ten action-packed boxing matches lined up – judged by international boxing trainer Colin Nathan.
“‘At Seconds Out, we aim to bring some of SA’s hottest performers out for our fans.”
Headlining The Clash of Chiefs with an epic halftime show by electrifying Shelton Forbez.
Organisers are inviting fans to join them on Sunday at AJ’s in the Park in Craighall Park “from 12 pm for a fun family day out, filled with boxing entertainment, food, drinks, music, dancing, and lots of prizes to be won”.
Besides being one of the finest exhibition boxing events to embrace entertainment culture in SA, Seconds Out said it uses its platform to educate members of our audience on the shadow pandemic that has consumed our nation – Gender-Based Violence.
