Polokwane – The Telkom Netball League was officially opened on Friday at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex in Seshego, Polokwane.
Acting MEC for Sport, Arts, and Culture Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya led the official opening.
The MEC said the SA was registering “a great victory” with its netball league.
“The presence of this sport in our communities should change lives and inspire communities to rally behind its programmes and activities,” said the MEC.
South Africa will be hosting the 2023 Netball World Cup.
The games in Seshego will conclude on Monday.
