Johannesburg – A man, who was ejected from his car after a collision with another vehicle along the N4, near Donkerhoek, Gauteng, has died.
Narrating what they found when they responded to calls for help, Emer-G-Med said it was just after 19:00 on Saturday night Emer-G-Med when paramedics arrived at the scene of the collision.
“Reports from the scene are that two light motor vehicles collided with one overturning and rolling down an embankment,” said Emer-G-Med.
“An adult male was ejected during the collision and sustained fatal injuries. He was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
“Four other occupants of the second vehicle incurred minor injuries only.”
The deceased has not yet been identified.
SAPS officers were on the scene.

In another car crash on Saturday night – this time in Pretoria, Emer-G-Med said paramedics responded around 21:00 to a serious motor vehicle collision along the R104 in the Silverton area.
“On arrival on the scene a light motor vehicle was found to have overturned, left the roadway, and crashed into a scrapyard,” said Emer-G-Med.
“An adult male was ejected during the incident and an adult female was found entrapped in the wreckage.
“Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilise both patients before a decision was made to airlift the female through to a specialist facility for the definitive care that she required.”
Emer-G-Med said the man was transported rapidly by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
