Pretoria – Tshwane Metro Police have recovered diamonds worth millions of rand and arrested three men and a woman at a mall in Mayville, Pretoria.

Two of the suspects are Namibian nationals.

Tshwane Metro Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the suspects were arrested on Friday.

He said Tshwane Metro Police members were conducting a crime intelligence-driven operation with other law enforcement agencies when they made the arrests and recovered the diamonds.

Acting on information that the “diamond dealers” were on their way to a mall in Mayville, law enforcement officers intercepted their white Honda when they arrived.
