Johannesburg – Two men survived after being tossed out of their car as it rolled along Witkoppen Road in the Northriding area in the middle of the night.
Emer-G-Med said the car crash occurred at about 23:20 on Friday.
“On arrival at the scene, two men were found to have been ejected from the wreckage of a light motor vehicle which had overturned,” said Emer-G-Med.
“Both men were in a critical condition and advanced life support paramedics worked fervently to stabilise them before they were rushed rapidly by ambulances to nearby hospitals for further medical care.”

Earlier, at about 20:15 on Friday, Emer-G-Med said paramedics responded to the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision along Van der Bijl Avenue.
“Reports from the scene are that a light motor vehicle overturned several times, crashing into three other vehicles,” said Emer-G-Med.
“A man in his thirties suffered serious injuries and advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize him before he was taken to a nearby hospital for further care.”
