Johannesburg – Five haulage trucks have been set alight in the dead of night along the N4, near the Waterval Boven about 2km from the tunnel on the Belfast side, Mpumalanga.

The wanton attack on haulage trucks in the early hours of Monday was the second in as many days.

A gang of armed men in two bakkies stopped the trucks and forced the drivers out of their vehicles before setting them alight.
