Durban – A biker died Sunday morning after a collision with a minibus taxi at the corner of Edwin Swales and Titren Road in the Bellair area of Durban.
ALS Paramedics said they were alerted of the collision “just before 6 am”.
When paramedics arrived at the crash scene, they reported that a minibus taxi and a Super Bike had collided in a “T-Bone format”.
“Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the biker, a male in his 20s, had sustained major injuries and was in a critical condition,” said ALS Paramedics.
“Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise him on the scene, however, his injuries were too severe, and despite all efforts he passed away on the scene.
“At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown however SAPS and RTI were in attendance.”
