Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that she had been separated for six years with Will Smith before the 2022 Oscars, where her hubby slapped comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about her bald head.
“We’re still figuring it out. We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us,” Jada said.
In another revelation, Jada Pinkett Smith told People that Chris Rock asked her out one summer amid divorce rumours with Will Smith:
“He called me and basically he was like, ‘I’d love to take you out.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No. Chris, those are just rumours.’ He was appalled. And he profusely apologised and that was that.”
