Johannesburg – At least 20 passengers were hurt Sunday morning when their bus lost control and ended up on its side along Rivonia Road in Sandton.
Emer-G-Med paramedics said at about 09:00 they responded to Rivonia a bus crash.
“On arrival on scene a municipal passenger bus was found to be lying on its side,” said Emer-G-Med.
An on-scene triage area was established by incident commanders.
“The injured commuters were treated and stabilised on the scene before being taken to various nearby hospitals for further medical care,” said Emer-G-Med.
