Pinetown – A woman in her 30s has been shot dead at a residence in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal.
Commenting on the tragedy, ALS Paramedics said they were called around 10:15, Wednesday morning, to attend to a shooting victim at a house on Tyrone Road in Padfield Park, in the Pinetown area.
When paramedics arrived on the scene they found SA Police Service (SAPS) officers and personnel from security companies in attendance.
The paramedics were shown inside the house where a female was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
“Paramedics assessed the patient and unfortunately found that there was nothing they could do for the patient and she was declared deceased on the scene,” said ALS Paramedics.
“At this stage the events leading up to the shooting is unknown however SAPS will be investigating further.”
