SHARE

Durban – A deadly shooting on Saturday night along Radcliffe Road in the Montclair area, south of Durban, has left two people dead and another – with gunshot wounds – being treated in hospital.

ALS Paramedics said at about 21:00 medics responded to multiple calls of a shooting incident on Radcliffe Road in the Montclair area south of Durban.

ALS Paramedics said its team of medics arrived on the scene at the same time as EMRS and they found SA Police Service (SAPS) officers already in attendance.

“Paramedics were shown to a vehicle that had multiple bullet holes in it,” said ALS Paramedics.

“Paramedics found three men in the vehicle and immediately assessed them.

“Unfortunately two males believed to be in their thirties had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their body and they were declared deceased at the scene.

“One male, also believed to be in his 30s, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was in a critical condition.”

ALS Paramedics said advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise him on the scene before rushing him through to a nearby hospital for the urgent care that he required.

“At this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown, however, SAPS will be investigating further,” said ALS Paramedics.
