Mbombela (Nelspruit) – The Hawks in Mpumalanga are asking the public to help find 44-year-old Amos Tineyi Kampinya, a former manager at Mugg & Bean at Kruger National Park, who is wanted in connection with fraud of over R800 000.

Hawks spokesperson in Mpumalanga Captain Dineo Sekgotodi said Kampinya, who is Zimbabwean, was being sought in connection with a fraud and theft case that took place in July 2022 at Kruger National Park Mpumalanga.

“It is alleged that during July 2022, Kampinya was working at Mugg & Bean at Kruger National Park as a manager,” said Captain Sekgotodi.

“It further alleged that Kampinya stole company funds amounting to R897 229.50 and disappeared.”

She said attempts to locate Kampinya at his last known address – flats in Karino near White River – were unsuccessful.

The Provincial Head of the Hawks Major General Gerber is urging Kampinya to come forward and is also appealing to the public to give information regarding the former manager’s whereabouts.

You can contact the Investigating Officer Captain Mandla Mphephethe on 071 481 3295.

Major General Gerber assured the public that all information provided would be treated with confidentiality.
