The world of reggae is reeling in shock after the Morgan Heritage family announced the death of affable lead singer Peter “Peetah” Morgan at the age of 46.
In a post on Instagram, his family confirmed the singer’s untimely passing but did not give any reasons for his demise.
At the 2015 Grammys, the Morgan Heritage band’s album “Strictly Roots” won the best reggae album of the year.
The Grammy award-winning reggae singer had multiple hits that were popular the world over including the Bobby Digital produced anthem “Don’t Haffi Dread” released in 1999.
