Ailing Legendary Gospel Singer Solly Moholo Has Died In Hospital

PASSED AWAY: Legendary gospel singer Solly Moholo has succumbed to illness in hospital

Johannesburg – Legendary Gospel singer Solly Moholo has died.

The popular singer’s management posted on X (formerly Twitter): “It is with great sadness that we are informing you on behalf of the Molokoane family, that is Solly Moholo’s family, that our beloved Solly Moholo has sadly passed away”.

Moholo died in hospital on Wednesday, (2 October 2024). 

His management said Moholo was hospitlised after falling ill following his album launch tour in Botswana.

“He will be sorely missed, May his laughter continue to echo the walls of heaven,” continued the post on X.

“Let us remember him fondly for the healing music he gave us over the years.

“At this time, the family would like to request that they be given privacy and time to mourn the passing of Ntate Solly Moholo.”
