Johannesburg – Notinmyname International has announced that it wants South African Football Association (SAFA) President Danny Jordaan to step down over fraud allegations involving over a million rand.
The SAFA boss is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, (13 November 2024).
City Press reports that Jordaan will appear alongside fraud co-accused Safa CFO Gronie Hluyo.
The matter relates to a criminal complaint filed against Jordaan in 2020 by William Mooka, a former vice president of the association and one of its long-serving SAFA NEC members.
Former vice-president Lucas Nhlapo and the association’s longest-serving CEO Dennis Mumble have reportedly provided affidavits corroborating Mooka’s complaint.
The court case comes after the Hawks executed search and seizure warrants at the association’s offices in Nasrec earlier this year.
