One of Durban’s most beloved stand-up comedians, Carvin H. Goldstone, will be performing at Sibaya, where his career began in 2006.
Please welcome him back on stage for his new one-man comedy show, “My New Debt Order”, on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 December, 2024.
In this performance, Goldstone humorously explores the experience of welcoming a new baby in his 40s, which he playfully refers to as his “new debit order.”

For some background on Goldstone, few could have predicted his rise in the comedy world.
In 2006, he was encouraged by his co-workers to enter a comedy competition at Sibaya, where he took the stage for the first time.
After five performances, he was crowned the comedy champion.
Over the years, he has become an internationally touring comedian and received the highest accolade in South African comedy, being named South African Comedian of the Year in 2018.
He also won the award for Best South African Comedy Show in 2020.
As of 2023, Goldstone has been nominated four times for SA Comedy’s top honour.
