Johannesburg – Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau is expected to shine for Egyptian giants Al Ahly when they take on South Africa’s Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League Group C clash at Orlando Stadium today.
Ahead of the clash, Tau was seen with his teammates at a practice session at Orlando Stadium, Soweto, Johannesburg.
Defending CAF champions Al Ahly, who started with a 4-2 home win over Stade Abidjan of the Ivory Coast in Group C, are yet to win a match in South Africa in more than two decades.
In that time, Al Ahly has made 15 trips to South Africa for continental club competitions.
The Egyptian giants have come away with eight draws and seven defeats.
However, Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro is hoping to make life as uncomfortable as possible for Al Ahly.
Last month, on 26 November, Orlando Pirates opened their Group C campaign with a 2-1 win over CR Belouizdad in Algiers.
All roads lead to Orlando Stadium, where glory beckons.
Kick-off is at 3 pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
