Johannesburg – Freedom Park has lifted the precautionary suspension of its underfire CEO Dr. Jane Mufamadi, who has been accused of nepotism and corruption in letters written anonymously by staff members.
Dr. Mufamadi was suspended a week ago.
“This serves to inform you that the precautionary suspension served on the CEO, Dr. Jane Mufamadi, on Wednesday, (29 January 2025), has been withdrawn with immediate effect,” announced a terse statement from Freedom Park.
“The CEO will hopefully resume her duties today, Monday, (3 February 2025), or as soon as she can.”
The statement was signed: “Sincerely yours Dr. Andrew Arries Acting Company Secretary On behalf of the Council”.

Dr, Mufamadi has been accused of partaking in a variety of anomalies by staff which were detailed in a report by IOL.
