Johannesburg – The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) has announced a train service for the Emirates Lions vs DHL Stormers rugby game at the Emirates Airline Park-Ellis Park Stadium.
The game is taking place on Saturday, 15 February 2025
PRASA said on this day the service will run at 15-minute intervals from Park Station to the stadium and back from 11:00 am.
The last Metrorail train from Ellis Park will be at 18:45.
“Rugby fans are encouraged to make use of public modes of transport, e-hailing services or the Gautrain to Park Station,” PRASA said.

The three-minute journey to and from the Emirates Airline Park will cost R20 for a return trip and can be purchased online via ticketpro for the convenience of spectators.
Gautrain tickets must be purchased separately from Gautrain. PRASA is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient transport solutions for all South Africans.
