Johannesburg – There is still no sign of missing journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli.
Ndlovu, a committee member of the National Press Club and the founder of Capital Live SA FM 99.0 FM has been missing since 18 February 2025.
Ndlovu reportedly left Denlyn Mall in Mamelodi on that day around 18:00.
He was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white long-sleeve shirt, and Nike sneakers.
Ndlovu’s partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, is also reportedly missing.
Gauteng Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo has confirmed that Ndlovu was reported missing and a search has been launched.
Masondo urged the public to contact police immediately if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of Ndlovu or Mdhluli.
With each passing day concerns were heightened about the fate of Ndlovu and his partner.

Sharing concern on Facebook Mandla Khosa posted: “This is my colleague, Aserie Sibusiso Ndlovu, we worked together at African Eye News, reports in Pretoria where he runs an online radio station CapitalLive is that he is missing! Please help!”
The National Press Club has been at the forefront of seeking information regarding the missing couple.
The National Press Club posted on Facebook: “URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP | Aserie Ndlovu (pictured below) and his partner have gone missing.
He is the founder of Capital Live FM, a community radio station operating from Mamelodi, Pretoria.
Aserie is also an executive member of the National Press Club.
Anyone with information on his possible whereabouts, please contact your local police station or reach out to the contacts on the poster.”
Commenting on the matter on Saturday (2 March 2025) the the National Press Club said family members of missing Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli were expected to give more details,
The National Press Club said the family members were expected to speak at a media briefing on Sunday, (2 March 2025).
