Johannesburg – Deputy Minister of Police Dr. Polly Boshielo has obtained a PhD in Administration.
The doctorate degree was conferred on Deputy Minister Dr. Boshielo on Saturday, (12 April 2025), at the University of Limpopo in Polokwane.

Other qualifications Dr. Boshielo holds include:
- Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) Transport Management (University of Cape Town)
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) (University of Limpopo)
- Bachelors of Commerce (BCOM) Management (UNISA)
- Diploma in Road Transport Management (UJ)
The deputy minister is leading the quest for knowledge from the front, noted the Ministry of Police in a statement made available to The Bulrushes.
“She is showcasing and demonstrating to all the ‘men and women in blue’ that hard work, discipline, and dedication are the key principles to success,” the statement said.
Dr. Boshielo’s achievement has not gone unnoticed by the top brass of the police.
Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, Deputy Minister Cassel Mathale, and the management of the SA Police Service, led by General Fannie Masemola, congratulated Dr. Boshielo for obtaining a PhD in Administration.
“May your success serve as an inspiration to all police officers who are studying hard toward empowering themselves,” the Ministry of Police said.
