Johannesburg – Boxing South Africa has appointed financial practitioner Betram Moses as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Announcing the appointment on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, Boxing SA, described Moses as a “battle-bruised financial practitioner with well over three decades of experience in the financial sector, more especially in the private sector”.
Boxing SA added: “Having worked in senior positions for entities such as Multichoice, Mnet, and recently Hitachi Construction Machinery Africa (Pty) Ltd, we believe Mr. Moses will greatly assist Boxing SA in its regeneration pursuit”.
Moses is a key addition to the management team, Boxing SA said.
“His appointment is part of a move to create stability and strengthen good governance in the organisation,” said Boxing SA.
“Mr. Moses is already at home at Boxing SA, having started on the 6th of June, just as the auditing process of the Boxing South Africa Financial Statements for 2024/2025 by the Auditor General commences.
“His first major task is naturally to oversee this audit process and to guarantee Boxing SA the best audit outcome from this process.”
Interestingly, Bertram Moses is the second Moses to occupy the office of CFO at Boxing South Africa.
From 2015, the office was occupied by Thabang Moses, who resigned in 2021.
