Johannesburg – Long-serving footballers Rivaldo Coetzee and Lebohang Maboe are leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.

Coetzee spent eight years as a Sandawana while Maboe was at the Pretoria-based club for a year less.

Coetzee won 14 trophies during his time with Sundowns and made over 130 appearances.

Maboe made 183 appearances winning 12 trophies including the unforgettable league-winning hat-trick.

Sundowns has thanked both players and wished them well in their future endeavours.

“Masandawana wishes you nothing but success as you enter your next chapter,” Sundowns said.
