Durban – Paramedics have attended to a bloody scene in Finfoot Road in Woodlands, Yellowwood Park, South of Durban, in which a couple had multiple stab wounds that left the woman dead and the man injured.
Narrating details of the orgy of violence, ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson said: “Just after midnight on Saturday morning, ALS Paramedics responded to numerous calls for medical assistance required in Finfoot Road.”
When paramedics arrived, they found police at the house and were escorted inside, where they found a horrific sight.
There was evidence that a violent domestic dispute occurred.
A female in her late 40s had been stabbed multiple times. She was dead.
“Paramedics found a male also in his 40s with multiple stab wounds to his body,” Jamieson said.
“He was in a serious condition and Advanced Life Support paramedics worked to stabilise him on scene before he was transported under police guard to a nearby hospital for further care that he required.”
The names of the couple have been withheld for now.
Police are investigating.
