Johannesburg – ESG data analytics firm Risk Insights and global rating agency RAEX International Group have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen collaboration in knowledge exchange, sectoral insights, research, and joint thought-leadership initiatives.

RAEX, headquartered in Moscow, Russia, and Risk Insights announced the signing of the MOU in a statement made available to The Bulrushes on Thursday, 11 December 2025.

“This partnership strengthens the global dialogue surrounding sustainable finance, focusing at initial stages on BRICS and Global South economies,” the statement said.

Under the MoU signed on 8 December 2025, the two organisations at this stage commit to a multi-pillar strategic collaboration that includes:

•Structured knowledge exchange, encompassing ESG developments, market intelligence, and sector-specific analysis.
•Joint participation in high-level events, including expert roundtables, conferences, and international outreach activities.
•Co-development of thought-leadership outputs, such as white papers, expert-panel contributions, research publications, and analytical reports.
•Shared dissemination platforms, including newsletters, podcasts, and curated literature to advance global ESG awareness.
•Expansion of collaborative services and new initiatives, introduced through mutual agreement as the partnership evolves.

Together, these pillars formalise a shared commitment to strengthening sustainable development across BRICS and Global South economies and markets through timely, insightful, and high-quality ESG intelligence.

Dr. Andrey Bogdanov, CEO of Risk Insights, said: “This is an important milestone in strengthening the flow of ESG knowledge between Africa and global markets.

“Our partnership with RAEX deepens our shared commitment to high-quality intelligence, transparency, and capacity-building in sustainable finance.

“We believe this collaboration will support greater market resilience and informed decision-making across continents.”

Dr. Dmitry Grishankov, General Director of RAEX International Group, commented: “BRICS and Global South markets are crucial to global sustainability outcomes.

“This alliance with Risk Insights opens new perspectives for strategic engagement and knowledge sharing.

“We look forward to collaboratively explore ESG trends, produce insightful research, and interact with stakeholders globally.”
