The upcoming Drive the Dream weekend is set to take place on 31 January 2026 across all participating BYD dealerships, nationwide.
This one-day open house offers the perfect opportunity to experience the brand’s innovative NEVs and hybrids firsthand.
The Drive the Dream weekend event aims to create awareness of BYD’s growing line-up, giving South Africans the opportunity to discover the performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology that make BYD vehicles stand out.
Visitors can book a test drive of 2026 Car Of The Year semi-finalists, including the Shark 6, BYD’s powerful new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) double-cab bakkie, and the Dolphin Surf, South Africa’s most affordable fully electric vehicle, among other models.
The recently launched Sealion 5 hybrid SUV will also be available for consumers to test drive.
