Johannesburg – Veteran communicator Kaizer Kganyago has joined the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) as national spokesperson.
The former SABC and Special Investigating Unit (SIU) spokesperson joined the NPA on Monday, 2 March 2026.
Announcing the appointment, National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Andy Mothibi said Kganyago has joined the NPA with effect from Monday, 2 March 2026.
Mothibi, the former head of the SIU, was appointed NDPP at the beginning of last month, 1 February 2026.
Kganyago, the former SIU spokesperson, has a wealth of experience in corporate communication strategy and stakeholder relations management.
“Proactive communications has been identified as one of the NPA Strategy Focus Areas,” Mothibi said.
