Moscow – Leningradsky Railway Station in Moscow is once again welcoming passengers following a major renovation.

The staton is now a modern urban space of national significance, designed to meet Moscow Transport standards and with a focus on every passenger.

At the same time, the station retains its historical role, remaining the centre of one of Russia’s largest transportation hubs —the Three Stations Square.

Today, Leningradsky Railway Station features:

  • Five waiting rooms, including separate spaces for passengers with pets and quiet relaxation areas.
  • For the first time, digital navigation at the country’s railway stations makes the route clear from the very first second.
  • Completely renovated engineering infrastructure.
  • About one minute to transfer between the station, the metro, the MCD, the MTD, ground transportation, and cars.
  • Well-known cafes, restaurants, shops, and services for every taste.
  • A family room and the Soyuzmultfilm kids’ club to ensure even the youngest passengers are comfortable.
  • A unique mosaic panel—a new attraction and the largest mosaic on Russia’s transportation infrastructure.

At the same time, we have carefully preserved the historic facade of Leningradsky Railway Station.

Here, the grandeur of history meets the modern rhythm of the big city.

The renovation of Leningradsky Railway Station is an important step in the development of the transportation hub; the next phase is the construction of the high-speed rail terminal.

“Today is a historic moment for the capital, Leningradsky railway Station has welcomed its first passengers following a major renovation carried out at the behest of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin,” said Maksim Liksutov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

“During the work, special attention was paid to the quality of the passenger environment.

“Now, the station features over 220 digital navigation elements, 1 000 waiting areas, and modern services provided by Moscow Transport.

“Our goal was to make their journeys more comfortable, faster, and more convenient at every stage of the trip.”
