Johannesburg – Editor-in-Chief of Kaya News & Talk Katy Katopodis has quit the popular radio station.
Announcing her departure on Friday, 29 May 2026, Katopodis posted on X: “And so it ends… Today was my final day as Editor-in-Chief of Kaya News & Talk.
“What a privilege it’s been to lead this @KayaNews team.”
Meanwhile, the radio station has announced that popular presenter DJ Fresh takes the helm of Kaya 959’s flagship breakfast show from 1 July 2026.
