Johannesburg – Television Presenter Jub Jub, whose real name is Molemo Katleho Maarohanye, failed to appear in court to face charges related to discharging a firearm in a public place.

Jub Jub cited ill-health for his failure to appear before Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 24 August 2026.

This resulted in the court issuing a warrant for his arrest, which was held over until his next scheduled appearance.

The matter was adjourned to 7 September 2026.

Jub Jub was arrested on 14 June 2026 for allegedly pointing a firearm at an e-hailing driver in Edenvale.

The 45-year-old media personality was subsequently released on R5 000 bail.
