Moscow – Moskva Metri has installed four more locally developed payment terminals at three train stations .
“We are upgrading the transport payment infrastructure with a primary focus on locally developed technologies,” Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, said on Tuesday, 25 August 2026.
“The new terminals feature an intuitive menu and advanced banking data security systems.
“In total, nearly 2 000 units of equipment will be purchased to gradually replace legacy machines reaching the end of their service life.”
