New York – GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum global superstar Miley Cyrus, now simply known as ”Miley,” has released the first single from her highly anticipated tenth studio album, “Bass Persuades”, arriving everywhere on 18 September 2026 via Atlantic Records.
Miley Cyrus has officially changed her stage name to “Miley” as she prepares for her next chapter in her music career.
The change was announced on 31 August 2026 and coincided with her signing with Atlantic Records and the release of her 10th album, “Bass Persuades”.
Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, reportedly supported the name change, describing it as a natural progression for an iconic superstar legend.
Arriving alongside an official music video directed by Miley’s close collaborator, Mert Alas, “Bass Persuades” is out now everywhere – listen HERE and watch the video HERE.

Miley will also make her return to the stage, announcing a two-night stand at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and October 18.
