Johannesburg – Legendary Afro Pop group Dalom Kids have announced the release date for their upcoming release of their new single titled “Oluwa”.

Building on their rich musical legacy Dalom Kids say “Oluwa” is set for release on 3 April 2026 across all major digital streaming platforms.

The track features acclaimed South African artists Professor, Tee Jay, and Novika, bringing together a dynamic collaboration that blends contemporary African sounds with uplifting and inspirational storytelling.

Originally formed by the late music pioneer Daniel Tshanda, Dalom Kids has remained a significant force in South Africa’s music industry since its early beginnings in the late 1980s.

The group first gained prominence with their debut album Mbalembale, which JJ achieved double-platinum status, followed by several successful albums, including Mathambo and Ndincedeni, both of which further cemented their reputation for producing timeless music that resonates with audiences across generations.

Over the years, Dalom Kids have continued to evolve while preserving the powerful legacy created by Tshanda.

After his passing in 2019, Sylvia Tshanda took leadership of Dalom Music, ensuring the group continues to grow while introducing their sound to a new generation of listeners.

The group has collaborated with several contemporary artists, including Master KG, Makhadzi, Professor, and Vee Mampeezy, expanding their reach and musical influence within the African music landscape.

One of their most notable achievements in recent years includes a collaboration with Master KG, which earned the prestigious Song of the Year award in 2023.

Their recent work continues to gain recognition.

The track “Simkhuzile”, produced alongside Lowsheen, Harrycane, and Charlotte, received a South African Music Awards (SAMA) nomination, highlighting the group’s continued relevance in the Afro Pop genre.

“Oluwa,” which translates to God, carries a powerful message centered around faith, perseverance, gratitude, and divine guidance.

The uplifting Afro Pop track encourages listeners to remain hopeful and resilient through life’s challenges while acknowledging the importance of faith in achieving personal growth and success.

With its powerful message and vibrant sound, “Oluwa” reflects Dalom Kids’ commitment to creating music that not only entertains but also uplifts and inspires audiences across generations.

As anticipation builds ahead of the release, Dalom Kids continue to strengthen their presence within the South African music scene while honoring the enduring vision of Daniel Tshanda.
