Rustenburg – Nineteen-year-old Blessing Dintle Tladi, accused of fatally stabbing 18-year-old Lethabo Sibanda in a schoolboy brawl nearly two weeks ago, remains locked behind bars.

On Wednesday Tladi made his second appearance in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court, North West, facing a charge of murder and another attempted murder.

During the brawl at the Rustenburg Bus Rank on that fateful Friday, (2 June 2023), in which Sibanda was fatally stabbed, another schoolboy also suffered stab wounds.

Tladi, who was arrested on the same day of the stabbings, was on Monday denied bail and remanded in custody until his next appearance on 27 July 2023.
