Mbombela (Nelspruit) – Men and women in blue have been urged to leave no stone unturned to find perpetrators of attacks on the police.

Constable Mthana and his colleagues were responding to a business robbery when they came under attack from a gang of six armed robbers
One of the robbers was also shot dead during the shootout.
However, the other five robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security, and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe said law enforcers were hard at work to bring the suspects to book.
The MEC said the attack on police officers would not make them any less brave in the fight against crime.
“In honouring the bravery of the departed constable and many others who lost their lives on duty, the police must urgently bring to book whoever is responsible for the tragedy,” Shongwe said.
Mpumalanga SA Police Service Commissioner Lieutanant-General Semakaleng Manamela, said: “Police will continue to hunt for his killers and leave no stone unturned.
“An attack on police officers will never be tolerated as it is considered as a direct attack on the state. “
Lieutanant-General Manamela added: “The perpetrators should know that police are on their heels and they will never find peace.
“They will be hunted down and be brought to justice.”
