Johannesburg – Goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma proved to be the lucky charm for Kaizer Chiefs in their 1-0 victory over Moroka Swallows on Sunday at  Dobsonville Stadium stadium, Soweto.

Back in the line-up after 13 months, Bvuma kept a clean sheet.

But it was Man of the Match Chiefs striker Christian Saile, who stole the show when he scored the only goal of the match with just 10 minutes left to the end.

Ruing missed chances, Swallows Coach Steve Komphela said there were “chocolates given” in the game that his team failed to take.

The much-needed win propels Chiefs into the top half of the DSTV Premiership.

Swallows starting line-up: Akpeyi, Phillips, Allan, Sibiya, Sam, Phalane, Jali, Makhubela, Mhango, Mtshali, and Mabasa.

Substitutes: Mbanjwa, Sibiya, Japonya, Tshanini, Khumalo, Malinga, Zuma, Van Rhyn, and Rampa.

Kaizer Chiefs starting line-up: Bvuma, Hlanti, Dove, Msimango, Frosler, Maart, Mthethwa, Nk. Ngcobo, Mmodi, Saile, Chivaviro

Substitutes: Petersen, Kwinika, Castillo, Nj, Ngcobo, Zwane, Gonzalez, Shabalala, Mashiane, and Radebe.
