Durban – Several employees were left nursing injuries after armed robbers hit a local liquor store in Florence Nightingale Drive in Chatsworth.

ALS Paramedics said just before noon on Sunday, (2 March 2025), they responded to numerous calls for medical assistance at a local liquor store.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find SAPS [SA Police Service] and multiple security personnel in attendance,” said ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.

“Paramedics were shown to multiple patients who had been assaulted during the alleged robbery.

“Paramedics stabilised multiple patients on the scene before transporting three people including a security officer to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.”

No arrests were reported.
