Three Missing Constables: Police Recover 3 Bodies From Hennops River, Probe Continues

Centurion – Police searching for missing constables – 20-year-old Boipelo Senoge, 24-year-old Cebekhulu Linda, and 30-year-old Keamogetswe Buys – have found three bodies along the Hennops River in Centurion.

Speaking to reporters on the scene on Tuesday, (29 April 2025), SA Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said: “The SAPS confirms that its investigation has brought it to the Hennops River in Centurion along the N1, we have three bodies so far whose identities are yet to be confirmed.

“We are searching for another body and for any other evidence that will assist us in concluding the case of the missing police officers.”

The police constables were travelling from the Free State to Limpopo when they went missing.

The trio, who were off duty, were traveling in a white VW Polo sedan (registration number JCL 401 FS) from Bloemfontein.

The car remains missing.

They were last seen on Wednesday, (23 April 2025), at the Engen garage, near the Grasmere toll plaza along the N1.

Families of the constables were said to be on their way to the scene….
