Al Jazeera female journalist Givara Budeiri has been manhandled and arrested by Israeli military forces in Sheikh Jarrah, Occupied East Jerusalem.

Visuals of her being led away were shown on Aljazeera. Her cameraman was pushed and his equipment smashed on the ground.

Even though Budeiri was wearing a marked press jacket she had been asked for her press ID.

She said her press card was in the car. All of a sudden she was assaulted, handcuffed, and led to a police station.

Budieri was covering a protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when she was arrested “in a brutal manner” by Israeli forces on Saturday. She was held for four hours and released with a broken hand.
