A collision between a car and a truck carrying horses left two women and their dog dead on Wednesday.
KZN VIP Medical Paramedic, who attended the scene, said: “Two people and a dog have been killed in a horrific accident involving a truck on Kassier Road in Shongweni just before 5pm on Wednesday”.
The women believed to be in their thirties and a dog sustained fatal injuries while The truck driver sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene.
“Horses from the truck were uninjured in the accident and were taken back to the stables,” said the paramedics.
Police are probing the cause of the fatal crash in KwaZulu-Natal.
